Practicalities
Initial Contact
After you make contact we will arrange an initial session where we will explore what brings you now and I'll begin to take some history, hear your needs and assess how maybe best to proceed. It's an opportunity for us to meet and for you to get a feel of how our work together may progress - research consistently suggests that the therapeutic relationship is central to client satisfaction and success. I work with this strongly in mind.
After this I suggest you take a few days to decide if you'd like to proceed ... if so we will contract to work together within certain boundaries of time and fees. I charge a 50% holding fee for any missed sessions though will attempt to re-arrange the session that week for you if possible.
Sessions are 50 minutes and usually weekly at the same time.
Some EMDR sessions may need a longer session - up to an hour and a half
Fees
Fees are £80 for individuals
£80 for supervision
£110 for couples
£110 for EMDR Therapy
I have a small number of low cost sessions available in the daytime for those on lower income and students. Please enquire about availability of such sessions at the initial contact.
